It is not yet known who will inhabit the estate.  The quantity and situation of the inhabitants will be determined at a later date. The lot is a typical suburban area, located in the town of Acassuso, in the Province of Buenos Aires.  It is 12 meters wide by 26 meters long, including a pool, as well as a small building in back which has been used as a service office and machinery room. The size of the estate was set by the zoning code, and thus uses the maximum possible area allocated for construction: in an area of 281.62 m2, with a floor surface area of 14.43 m2, including a pool of 19.83 m2, the project calls for a 36.04 m2 semi-covered section and a 252.56 m2covered section on the ground floor and two upper floors.

The intention is to not completely divide the width of the bottom floor, in order to maintain the full length of the plot.  This way, upon opening the door to the street, the viewer has a 26m long field of view and spatial continuity between the front garden and the rear wall, looking through the semi-covered section, which will function as both a garage and an expansion of the living and dining room. The scheme consists of a main floor intended for public use, a sitting and dining room.  The second floor will contain two bedrooms and a bathroom, and two undefined spaces that could be converted into bedrooms, studies, or anything else. The third floor is left open in the SUM style, and includes the necessary installations to construct two additional bathrooms, if deemed necessary.

There is an independent support structure with internal columns and inverted beams that liberate the floor and ceiling; in this manner, the facade and floor may be freely changed, according to the needs of the house at any given time.  The reinforced concrete structure is left visible, and the floors are laid with eucalyptus wood strips obtained from cultivated forests.  The walls are made of natural anodized aluminum, with hermetically sealed double-paned windows, to fully control ventilation and insulation.  The windows have external blinds, modeled after the “barrios” type, which manage lighting, absorb heat via solar radiation, and maintain privacy.
