STAIR SEAT
2-3-4 unit sets based on STAIR model, a seat with minimal dimensions especially designed for conference halls, theatres and auditorium, with the following measures:
This seat has been conceived for space optimization, even when supplied with table.
Seat is made of open-cell polyurethane foam on a beech plywood core, 12 mm. thick. Two L-shaped side-flaps, 90º angle, fix folding axles of the seat.
Backrest is made of double open-cell polyurethane foam on a beech plywood core, 15 mm. thick. Two L-shaped side-flaps, 90º angle and joined with those of the seat, determine seat folding by means of moving axles placed inside armrests.
Headrest is fixed to the top edge of the backrest.
The Automatic tip-up mechanism rotates seat and backrest to folded position when the seat is vacated.
Sidearms made of steel tube with a rectangular section, finished with epoxy powder coating, 80-micron -shade to be chosen by the customer. The set folds by counterweight, backrest lowers and reaches an upright position, while seat folds up. Thus the set requires minimum depth.
Armrest made of beech wood, 20mm thick, fixed to the top edge of sidearm -shade to be chosen by the customer.
All metallic components finished with epoxy coating -shade and texture to be chosen by the customer.
Upholstery: M-1 fireproof fabrics -shade to be chosen by the customer-, with underlying M-1 barrier.
This model includes seat and row numbering.

Fixing to the pavement
Each cross-beam has two feet, made of steel tube and plate, anchored to the pavement by means of 4 orifices, using specific hardware.
MOBILE STAIR SEAT
2-3 unit mobile sets based on STAIR model.
A steel tube framework, with circular section, fixed at inner part of sidearms, guarantees stability of the set and durability of the seats.
Fixing to the pavement by means of special caps and chemical anchoring, allowing seats to be fixed as many times as required.
Once seats are removed, orifices in the pavement would be covered with countersunk screws, preventing dirt and dust.
This solution includes supply of trolleys for storage of removed sets.
Stair Table
Dimensions:
Surface height: 740mm
Working surface: 440 x 320 x 13 mm
Writing tablet, stored in a vertical tilting box (50 mm thickness).
Phenolic surface leans out by means of a sliding rail concealed in the box, thus achieving a working position.
Box is made of a metal structure edged with wood and panelled with plywood, 10mm thick.
In order to reach working position, the set tilts 7º by means of axles and an adjustable spring, bearing this angle only when unfolded. When the user slides the tablet in the storing box, the set returns to vertical position, thus widening the path for exit and access.
SLIP
Slip is a most useful system for room optimization: it allows storing all seat-rows in a minimum space at the end of the room (front or back end). Thus, the area can be used not only as an auditorium or theatre, but also for alternative uses which require free room.
Row release and carriage is made by means of two discrete rails, hidden beneath the floor surface.
Each set of seats is mounted on a crossbeam (maximum 11 units) made of steel tube with a special section of 120×40 mm.
The cross-beam has two legs, ending on feet with rail clips, which are fixed on hidden rail-bars: only the section of the leg shows up from the floor.
Each row-set would be moved from storage to “use” position by means of the aforementioned rail system. Once the final position is locked, users can access their seats.
Storage after session can be made in a box fixed at the end of the railway. When the room is empty, the only visible trace is a cut -20 mm. wide- in the floor.
